Comic commissioned from Tiff Gallant

I have had the wonderful privilege to have several comic scripts of mine brought to life by Tiff Gallant. A supremely talented draftsperson Tiff has been a fantastic collaborator on several short comics. When I commission an artist I always try to make the peace we are working on match their strengths as well as being a superb sequential artist Tiff is also passionate about the martial arts. So I knew I had to ask her to draw my favorite characters engaging in some spareing.

This was the first comic I asked Tiff to draw. While I had the punchline set from the very beginning it was Tiff who came up with Makoto and Chae's fight choreography. I love Makoto's pose in the penultimate panel, Tiff has a gift for drawing exhaustion.
